ABOUT PANTAY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

       Pantay Elementary School is a non –central school located at Sitio Pantay, New Boso Boso, Barangay San Jose, Antipolo City, about 11 kilometers away from the city proper. It has a school site are of more or less one hectare acquired through a Deed of Donation. The school is located at the foot of the mountanous area of Antipolo City wherein the primary means of livelihood of the people is farming. The residents are product of migration with different culture and values.

        Pantay Elementary School already existed during the Japanese regime yet it was formally founded in 1999 with two teachers headed by Mrs. Juliana SF. Gonzales until 2001. Followed by Mrs. Carmelita De Jesus by the year 2001-2004. At that time, the  school was an annex of Jesus S. Cabarrus elementary School situated at Sitio Tagbac, Barangy san Jose, Antipolo City. As years went by, the school population gradually increased until it became a complete elementary school during the school year 2003-2004. It was the same school year when the Memorandum of Agreement was presented stating the separation of Pantay Elementary School, to be dependent school. From that time it manned by a Teacher-In-Charge under Mrs. Cynthia C. Quirong by the year 2004-2006 and was followed by Mrs. Bernadette Berber by the year 2006 up to November 20, 2007 and was turned over to Mrs. Mary Jane G. Halili by November 21, 2007 as the new Teacher-In_Charge of the school.

         On May 2009, school was turned over to Mrs. Evangeline Quibuyen who was succeeded by Mrs. Cristina c. Salazar as the new Teacher-In-Charge  of the school on August 4, 2009. At present the new principal is Mrs. Nenita G. Acorda. School has 17 academic  classrooms, 1 non-academic room used as principal's office. It has a total of 895 pupils and 23 teachers all of which are nationally funnded teachers, 1 volunteer, 1 utility worker, 1 school guard and the principal.
